Emi is a Japanese word for a smile. Japanese aesthetics, in our eyes, comes with a sense of detail: everything is thought out, and nothing is wasted. So that every day becomes a joy. Inspired by this, we named our classic shoulder bag smile (Japanese).

It is important to us that your PIHKA bag stays with you year after year. All our products are handmade in Finland, in Helsinki or Sastamala. Our leather comes from European factories that are audited by the Leather Working Group. For sewing, we use water-repellent Serafil Wre (water-repellent and ecofriendly) polyester thread, which does not contain harmful chemicals.

Our products have a lifetime warranty for wearable metal parts. We also offer maintenance service for all our products.

Delivery time: The delivery time for our handmade products is 18 business days. The delivery time is also the same for packages that can be picked up. We will inform you separately when the product is available for pickup. We value each bag individually, that's why we manufacture them in small batches in the required quantity. All PIHKA products are hand made on Finland.

Right of return: Our products have a 14-day right of exchange and return.

Before applying conditioners to your leather product, brush loose material from the surface with a soft brush or damp cloth and treat the surface with a leather cleaner. We recommend ecological FAMACO cleaning foam or Saphir leather cleaning emulsion for cleaning. The substance is spread evenly on the surface of the leather with a natural sponge or a soft cloth, the excess substance is removed and allowed to dry. The surface is finished with a leather brush or cloth.

After cleaning, protect the leather surface with FAMACO protective spray or FAMACO leather care agent. In both care products that provide moisture and protection, the substance is sprayed or spread evenly on the surface of the leather with the help of a soft cloth. Allow to dry carefully. After treatment, the surface is still polished with a leather brush or cloth.

WHERE ARE PIHKA PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

Do PIHKA bags have exchange and return rights?

The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return only applies to unused and salable products in the original packaging. PIHKA pre-loved products do not have the right of exchange or return.

Can PIHKA bag be maintained or repaired?

For us, responsibility means that the products we manufacture are made to be loved and used throughout life. One bag is enough. PIHKA collection's roots are in high-quality craftsmanship, and by combining sustainable design with artisan know-how, we create products that stand the test of time and the traces of life. Our products are made so that they can be maintained and repaired. We maintaine PIHKA bags at our store on Punanotkonkatu during our opening hours. For example, you can bring your shoulder strap to be repaired or your bag to be cleaned. Some of the maintenance is done while waiting, but sometimes the procedures require a deeper examination and a longer maintenance time.

WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED AN ORDER CONFIRMATION?

The order confirmation should come to your e-mail right after the moment of ordering. Sometimes our messages are redirected to the spam folder, so it's worth checking there as well. If the message is not found, please contact us at info@pihkacollection.fi, and we will make sure that your order has gone through normally. You will receive a separate delivery confirmation when the products of your order are ready to be sent. The delivery time for our handmade bags in Finland is 18 business days.
