During PIHKA ARTISAN workshop, you get to express your own creativity and make your new favorite bag. You can participate in the workshop without previous experience working with leather. During the day, PIHKA collection's own artisans will give you personal guidance in all stages of making the bag.
PIHKA collection has its roots in high-quality craftsmanship, and we want to do our part to nurture the Finnish craft and art industry. We want to offer our customers the same joy we experience when creating PIHKA collections. After the workshop, you will receive a durable self-made bag with your own distinctive handprint.
In the PIHKA ARTISAN workshop, you can choose to create one of two different models - stylish CHER bucket bag or casual SIKKER shoulder bag. Both bags have an adjustable shoulder strap, an open inner pocket and enough space for a water bottle and all the things you need during the day.

Shoulder strap: the width of the detachable and adjustable shoulder strap is 1 cm, the shortest adjustable length is 83 cm and the longest is 150 cm
Dimensions SIKKER: approx. 16 cm x 25 cm x 7 cm (H x W x D)
Shoulder strap: the width of the detachable and adjustable shoulder strap is 4 cm, the shortest adjustable length is 97 cm and the longest is 104 cm
The price of the workshop is 260 € . The price includes:
- high-quality European leather and other manufacturing materials
- a wide selection of different colored leathers
- professional teaching
- snacks during the workshop

The workshop can accommodate 6 people. If you gather a full group for the course, you get a 10% discount. You can pay the reservation fee or the entire wokrshop price through the online store. With the reservation fee you secure your place in the workshop, the rest is paid on the day of the workshop. In case of possible cancellation, the reservation fee will not be refunded without a medical certificate. We reserve the right to make changes if not enough participants register. We will announce any changes two weeks before the workshop.

It is important to us that your PIHKA bag stays with you year after year. All our products are handmade in Finland, in Sastamala. Our leather comes from European factories that are audited by the Leather Working Group. For sewing, we use water-repellent Serafil Wre (water-repellent and ecofriendly) polyester thread, which does not contain harmful chemicals.
Our products have a lifetime warranty for wearable metal parts. We also offer maintenance service for all our products.

Delivery time: The delivery time for our handmade products in Finland is normally 18 business days. The delivery time is also the same for packages that can be picked up. We will inform you separately when the product is available for pickup. We value each product individually, that's why we manufacture them in small batches in the required quantity.
Right of return: Our products have a 14-day right of exchange and return.
Before applying conditioners to your leather product, brush loose material from the surface with a soft brush or damp cloth and treat the surface with a leather cleaner. We recommend ecological FAMACO cleaning foam or Saphir leather cleaning emulsion for cleaning. The substance is spread evenly on the surface of the leather with a natural sponge or a soft cloth, the excess substance is removed and allowed to dry. The surface is finished with a leather brush or cloth.
After cleaning, protect the leather surface with FAMACO protective spray or FAMACO leather care agent. In both care products that provide moisture and protection, the substance is sprayed or spread evenly on the surface of the leather with the help of a soft cloth. Allow to dry carefully. After treatment, the surface is still polished with a leather brush or cloth.
