PIHKA small bag course

In the PIHKA small bag course, you get to try traditional leatherworking and make a leather bag yourself with the help of our design professionals. Don’t hesitate to join our courses even without prior experience in leatherworking – we will guide you through all the phases of the work. In addition to fun memories, you will take home a self-made bag that is ready for a life-long journey.

In the PIHKA small bag course, you can choose your bag’s design from two options – the envelope-shaped clutch Agata and the small crossbody Kielo, inspired by binocular bags.

The bags are designed for both everyday and special occasions. The clutch, Agata, measures approximately 15×25 cm (height and width), and the round-bottomed Kielo approximately 18x20x7 cm (height, width and depth). For both of the bags, you can make the shoulder strap any length you want.

In the PIHKA small bag course, all the work from cutting to stitching is done by hand. We use Swedish vegetable-tanned leather, and the colour options are nude, medium brown and black.

Our bag making courses are held in PIHKA Workshop and Boutique in the centre of Helsinki, or in Kehräsaari, in the centre of Tampere.

The price of the PIHKA small bag course is 170 €. The price includes high-quality vegetable-tanned leather and other materials, teaching, sparkling wine and refreshments, and a warm atmosphere.
